Usage Tips
  • Avoid Jams: Try not to feed more than 6 sheets at once to prevent paper jams. If a jam occurs, look for a manual toggle or a REV (Reverse) switch on the control head to back out the trapped sheets. 
  • Duty Cycle: Budget office shredders usually feature an automatic thermal shutdown protection mechanism. If it shuts off after about 2 to 5 minutes of continuous shredding, leave it unplugged to cool down for 15–30 minutes. 
  • Staple Compatibility: Many models in this lineup can chew through standard small staples, but it is highly recommended to remove heavy paper clips or plastic bindings to maximize blade longevity.
